Developed in collaboration with Michael Graves, five-time GRAMMY Award winning engineer of Osiris Studios in Los Angeles, \u00c9TOILE began as a nearfield reference monitor, precisely tuned to capture the tonal accuracy and spatial control of Graves\u2019 mastering environment. Jack Vang further refined that tuning further by ear, preserving the clarity, resolution while introducing a low frequency presence, a more intimate midrange and increased depth across the soundstage. The perfect balance is hence achieved- what was talked about for decades, but yet born, is now \u00c9TOILE.<\/span><\/p>\nEarly in it’s development, it was evident that in order to deliver the vision and sound signature that both Jack Vang and Michael Graves demanded of \u00c9toile, off-the-shelf drivers and conventional designs would not suffice. The result – the creation of the Meister Architecture, a bespoke diver platform that seeks to push the possibilites of in-ear monitors.<\/p>\n
At the heart of the Meister Architecture lie two unique innovations: the Meister VIII (M8) magnetostatic tweeter and the Meister X (M10) subwoofer. The M8 was selected to ensue speed without thinness, extension without fragility with the M10 subwoofer to deliver visceral bass without bloom while maintaining a natural decay, resulting in a sound that is intimate, haunting, yet precise with textures and timbre in a nearly holographic space.<\/p>\n
With the proprietary, made in Japan N52 coil system of the M10, the lows of the\u00c9toile projects resounding depth with authority. The 10 driver per side tri-brid system of the\u00a0\u00c9toile will utilize a six-way crossover, allowing the \u00c9toile to provide a one of a kind listening experience that has every pitch perfectly represented.<\/p>\n
