T+A built Qualcomm’s premium QCC5127 Bluetooth receiver into Solitaire T, and that in turn hands over D/A duties to ESS’ ES9218 DAC. With parts selection fitting of many music players it’s little wonder Solitaire T is a reference closed-back headphone – Bluetooth or not.

Moving to Solitaire T’s beating heart – a 42mm bio-cellulose driver – that moves copious amounts of air for bass quantity. T+A’s optimised low-bass system produces a completely new kind of bass in Bluetooth, ensuring perfect transient response and preventing disruptions in the frequency response from standing waves and phase cancellation. 

With the stiffness of bio-cellulose but especially its damping at higher frequencies, Solitaire T’s driver never risks distortion due to cone or modal break-up as your music climbs into shorter wavelengths.
